REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES RECRUITMENT OF THREE PROFESSTIONAL INDIVIDUAL EXPERT TO SERVE AS MEMBERS OF THE HYDRO-POWER PANEL OF EXPERTS (HPPOE) FOR THE SPIN PROJECT -SOCIAL, ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT EXPERTS
The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank to implement the Sustainable Power and Irrigation for Nigeria (SPIN) Project through the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation in collaboration with Federal Ministry of Power and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services
The consulting services (“the Services”) include Recruitment of Individual Social, Energy and Environmental Experts to form part of six Hydro-Power Panel of Experts (HPPOE) for the preparation of Nigeria Hydropower Development Master Plan (HMP) along with a Strategic Environmental and Social Assessment (SESA). The Hydro-Power Panel of Experts (HPPOE) will act as an independent technical advisory body to the Federal Project management Unit (FPMU), reviewing hydropower infrastructure designs for compliance with international and World Bank standards. The panel will be chaired by the Hydropower expert, who will lead and coordinate its activities. The assignment is time-based, with a two-year duration.
