Adamawa State has partnered with the SPIN project to drive large-scale agricultural improvements. The state has chosen Model 1, which involves a collaborative partnership with the Federal Government on an existing River Basin Development Authority (RBDA) scheme. To fulfill this objective, Adamawa has selected the Gerio Irrigation Scheme for rehabilitation.
The Gerio Irrigation Scheme is located at coordinates Lat: 10.03165° and Long: 11.9549°. The state is currently working with designated focal officers to integrate the project with federal frameworks and ensure smooth execution at the local level.
