Enugu State is a dedicated participant in the Sustainable Power and Irrigation for Nigeria (SPIN) project, focusing on enhancing agricultural productivity through sustainable irrigation systems. The state has chosen Model 2, which involves the state taking the lead in developing and managing its irrigation schemes. To achieve its agricultural goals, Enugu State has selected the Nsukka Irrigation Scheme for rehabilitation and expansion under the SPIN project.
